Hello there! When we discuss web analytics, we're diving into the realm of Metrics. They're all about capturing those useful numbers that provide insights into how your site is performing, for example. They provide insights into your customers: their interactions with your site, the performance of your content, and the effectiveness of your marketing strategies.😉
Let's explore two main types of metrics:
A BD metric is similar to having a direct conversation with our database (DB). So, when we mention, for example, the deposit amount, it's a value that we can retrieve directly from the DB. This is known as a database-type metric, which is particularly useful for tracking figures such as conversions.

Think of Formula-based metrics as being similar to your grandma's special recipe. They consist of a blend of ingredients (data) combined with some math magic (formulas or functions) to provide us with delicious insights!⭐
